The primary focus will be on the Houston and Austin markets; however, someone that is also well networked in Dallas and other major cities around the state would be highly desirable. Not a show stopper if candidate lives outside of Texas. ExperienceMust be able to hunt and farm. There are no junior level business development or sales resources to funnel leads, so candidate will be responsible for getting new business, as well as, growing existing relationshipsMust have successfully carried $2 million annual sales quota and able to carry $3-5 million annual sales quota. This person should have successfully closed $1 million dollar deals (not all, but have a few under their belt)Must have experience selling IT related services. That is, not packaged software or hardware products. Although, that can be part of the resume, it should not be the bulk of it. To use an old adage, our company does not sell widgets.Experience selling Rational Unified Process and Rational solutions is highly desired and preferred. /- 20% travel depending upon base location.
