In this unique educational experience, students engage in both curricular and co-curricular programs that combine real world experiences with lectures and service learning.The successful candidate will have a record of distinction as a college instructor preferably at the academic rank of “professor”; experience interacting with diverse college-related groups (administrators, faculty, staff members, students, alumni, parents, and members of the regional and national higher education community); experience with curriculum development and faculty evaluation; experience and understanding of student retention issues; experience with accreditation processes; a broad range of demonstrated administrative skills, talents, and leadership as revealed through progressively responsible experiences in supervisory and policy-making positions; a commitment to scholarship, and to pluralistic perspectives and interdisciplinary approaches typical of a liberal arts environment; and experience and knowledge of best practices in established and emerging pedagogies.
