Compliance Officer - (US-CA-Pacifica - 94044) Minimum Education: None Job Type: Full Time Email this job to yourself or to a friend | Job Match Test | Resume Guide Click Here to Apply Online Responsibilities and Requirements : Compliance OfficerThe candidate will administer the ethics and compliance program by implementing systems and processes designed to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and standards (Department of Health and Human Services Departments, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Office of the Inspector General (OIG)). Will assist senior management and governance boards in carrying out respective roles and responsibilities by providing compliance monitoring, reporting, training and advice. Report to the regional Deputy Compliance Officer (DCO) with functional reporting to the CEO and the Board. Develop and/or implement procedures to support administration of the Ethics and Compliance Program. Quantify the status of program implementation and effectiveness. Implement, administer, support, and maintain an Operational Compliance Committee. Lead initiatives to eliminate or minimize practices that may result in violations of federal and state law and regulations and/or policies. Design and effectively communicate effective strategies regarding existing and developing compliance exposures for hospital. Implement ethics and compliance educational programs to ensure that the importance of ethical and legal conduct is communicated to all employees and that all employees receive mandatory periodic training in these matters, including new employees during their initial orientation. Track attendance and follows-up to ensure completion of required training. Establish and maintain reporting mechanisms.
