Responsibilities : Work interactively with other shifts and team leaders to ensure consistency in policies, methods, and proceduresProvide direction to the manufacturing work areasDemonstrate leadership ability and foresight to plan and delegate work in advanceSupervise and manage production staff to include scheduling, performance management, progressive discipline, attendance tracking, time card accuracy, safety awareness, training, etc.Organize and coordinate activities within the manufacturing operation to meet or exceed the facility and corporate goalsEnsure quality parts are produced and delivered on time that meet customer specificationsProject staffing for daily and future production needsCoach and facilitate problem solving among production staffPromote continuous improvement involvement along with timely completion of all corrective actions assignedConsistently monitor machinery, processes, and work cell layouts in order to recommend improvements that yield increases in profit and quality levels and decreases potential safety hazardsKeep work area cleanReport incidents and injuries to manager immediatelyRecognize close-call incidents and safety hazards and take action to eliminate themUse equipment properly and follow the safety features/operating proceduresWear applicable personal protective equipmentFollow applicable safety, quality, and environmental programs, policies, and proceduresActively participate in continual improvement, corrective action, and customer satisfaction

Requirements :Associate degree in a manufacturing related discipline, or equivalent experience; bachelors degree preferredtwo (2) years' supervisory experiencefour (4) years' experience working in a manufacturing environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to achieve desired results by influencing peer groups within the facility.
