Responsibilities : As the primary contact for the customer, and acting as a business manager within the company, proactively manage orders, including both Dealer and Direct Commissioned projects/orders for large key customers, which are assigned from the point of initial design through expiration of the warranty in accordance with published practices, policies and procedures to successfully meet department and company goals.Manage projects/orders assigned by Manager, Project Management including key customer alliances. Manage key customer alliances: Develop/Coordinate Master Schedule; Develop/Nurture team approach with Dealer; Coordinate pre-order design; Quality audit drawings and details. Review, understand, and manage projects in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract documents on individual orders. Participate in various types of negotiations with customers, architects, and subcontractors to protect company interests. In conjunction with the Purchasing Group activity, proactively coordinate vendor schedules to correlate with jobsite requirements.Work with customers to obtain approval of shop drawings, samples and/or mockups to gain early release of an order for manufacturing. Perform quality audits of products both in the factory and the field. Provide timely, professional written responses to customer inquiries concerning product, schedules, installation, conflicts, problems, etc., as may be required.

Requirements :Four-Year Degree: PreferredMajor:Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field or practical work experience which offsets college education requirements.Computer Languages: Microsoft Word, ExcelWork Experience: At least 3 years related experience.What Area: Project Management, Construction ManagementPerform internal/external training relative to Project/Order Management as may be required. Travel to jobsites to inspect work and participate in various meetings such as, Trade Coordination meetings, Company Presentations, and Installation Coordination Meetings as required. Develop necessary internal and external relationships to successfully manage projects to meet or exceed customer expectations. Work with Manager, Project Management to develop programs for improving/enhancing processes within the Project /Order Management functional area.
