Responsibilities : Lead and manage all production resources to ensure the achievement of all committed Key Performance Indices the development of production schedules for Manufacturing and the assembly of products to meet customer delivery dates (mid and long term) and/or inventory levels that meet corporate goals.Establish manufacturing strategy that support overall strategic initiatives.Develop proactive contingency manufacturing and outsourcing plans where appropriate to support quantum growth.Define manufacturing improvement goals, improve productivity, reduce manufacturing cycle time, lower conversion costs, and achieve on time delivery to customer base.Achieve manufacturing production schedules that support market and customer required lead times.Implement cost reduction programs and reengineer existing processes to reduce the manufacturing cost of sales.Support new process and product development and implementation.Work with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure that the selection of capital equipment supports productivity, quality and cost objectives.Develop and maintain a highly motivated workforce through training and employee development programs in each of the assigned areas of responsibility to elevate the skill level of employees, as well as provide flexibility in a multi-functional workforce environment.Responsible for managing and maintaining all health and safety standardsDrive continues improvement by taking a leadership role in driving Lean Manufacturing including: Cellular Flow, Total productive maintenance and 5s.

Requirements :Bachelor’s Degree (technical degree preferred)Masters in Business Administration or other advanced degree is ideal.8 to 10 years manufacturing experience with one or more companies within the metal fabrication and assembly industryLarge and small manufacturing experience is desired where responsibilities included production supervision of sheet metal fabrication, paint finishing and mechanical/electromechanical assembly operations.Additional Skills and Abilities:Must possess broad based knowledge of progressive manufacturing practices including Lean principles, inventory management, production scheduling and control, resource planning, budgeting and cost control.
