Independent Student Advisor:

• Job Description: The Independent Student Advisor role is to advertise, prospect, qualify, build relationships, and sell to new customers, while retaining and extending
relationships with your development team

• Ideal Candidate: The ideal Independent Student Advisor will be an experienced sales/marketing professional or previous experience working with people. The candidate must
be able to promote and sell within the education industry. A thorough understanding of selling in the consultative arena; selling a service vs. a tangible product will be crucial to
one’s success.

• Experience with a sales pipeline, funneling, and forecasting, in addition to lead generation and strong people skills are essential qualities for this role. This position requires the
individual to become well versed in the products (Become a product of the product), beyond basic features and benefits as they work closely with potential customers to
determine the product to meet their needs.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• College degree, formal education, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to develop an extensive, in depth understanding of a complex product relative to the current market conditions. Previous sales or educational experience is strongly recommended.
• Basic computer skills, Microsoft office, Internet, and email.

The company markets high-end, niche products that may require an extended sales cycle.
Independent Sales Advisors must be highly self-motivated and focused on long-term success.

Location: Chicagoland Area
• Compensation: Commission 1099 - 20%-50% depending on product sold and training
progress. Bi-weekly payment schedule. Immediate weekly earning potential.
• Training: Online training available upon start date. Weekly and monthly training programs to help advisors with product understanding and marketing plans.
• Travel: Must have own vehicle and be willing to travel to local presentations and community events.
• Marketing Material: Marketing material is available.
