Responsibilities: Developing and conditioning large scale datasets - Delivering research findings through written and graphical reports, workshops and formal presentations - Working in a dynamic environment under aggressive timelines - Willingness and ability to travel, and work evenings and weekends when required Qualifications: Desired Knowledge / Skills / Abilities - Strong quantitative and analytical abilities - Working knowledge of undergraduate admissions, financial aid, and/or institutional research functions - Experience in research design, implementation and analysis - Experience in using statistical packages such as SPSS, SAS or STATA - Proficiency in MS Office Suite including strong Excel spreadsheet skills - Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with team-members and clients - Knowledge of data sources related to educational and demographic research a plus Education / Experience Candidates typically possess an advanced degree in higher education, applied statistics, public policy, economics, psychology or other quantitative social science fields OR have experience in applied research, higher education admissions or financial aid with a solid background in quantitative methods. .
