Our client is growing and they need to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to their staff. They manufacture sanitary process cleaning equipment for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. This is a stable growing organization that a person can grow his or her career with. Given a history of candidates who did not live up to expectations the company wants to hire contract to direct. Requirements:1. BS Mechanical Engineering or MET and 2+ years of previous industrial equipment design experience.2. Strong SolidWorks design skills is required, including design with sheet metal. They do testing on SolidWorks3. A strong plus would be experience designing sanitary / clean in place equipment for food, beverage or pharmaceutical industries4. The company uses DB Words as document management system so any experience with it would be helpful.Duties1. Design, using SolidWorks, sanitary / clean in place production equipment as ordered by customers in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.2. You will serve as a technical resource for the sales and shop floor staff and as needed have customer involvement.The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary.
