Requirements : Documents, and Component Verification and Product Functional Specifications. Analyze ability of structural components to withstand stresses imposed by static, dynamic or thermal loads due to operational or test conditions. Perform on-orbit analyses for thermal distortion and pointing. Provide input to Attitude Control Systems personnel in predicting line of sight and jitter performance. Perform spacecraft systems and component structural and dynamic analysis utilizing classical and finite element techniques in NASTRAN; generate reduced models in Craig-Bampton formats and perform coupled loads analysis. Assist in development of test plans, evaluate test loads and durations, and recommend type and placement of instrumentation. Develop fracture control plans for task specific payloads and perform fracture mechanics analysis. Support spacecraft environmental testing (modal, shock, vibration, static, acoustic, and thermal) SecretJob Masters degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Engineering Mechanics with min 10 years experience or a Bachelors degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Engineering Mechanics with min 12 years or equivalent experience.
