The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing patient care under the direction of licensed nurses. Assists in maintaining sanitary conditions in the patient's environment, transports patients, stocks clinical supplies, files slides and reports. Performs routine procedures and treatments to facilitate patient flow. Supports the philosophy of P/SLMC to provide superior patient care. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Medical Assistant required Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Completion ofmedical assistant training program required. Experience: 1 year of previous ambulatory services/clinic experience required. .
