Responsibilities and Requirements : A law firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Attorney with 5+ years of patent prosecution experience. Experience drafting and prosecuting complex electrical/mechanical and software patent applications, preparing legal opinions, and providing litigation support is required. Must posses substantial experience in drafting non-provisional patent applications and office action responses. Electrical or computer engineering degree is required. Computer science candidates may be considered. Experience in telecommunications is considered a plus. Must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Must be a member of The Florida Bar or willing to sit for next examination.
