Responsibilities and Requirements : The Chase Middle Market Banking Group currently has an expansion effort underway in California , Washington, Florida and Georgia.  We are seeking Senior Underwriters to join our Credit Teams in the following locations:  Los Angeles, San Francisco, Irvine, Seattle , Miami and Atlanta. The As a Senior Underwriter in Middle Market, your primary role is to be a Market Leader.  You will actively participate in local leadership meetings and present a positive image for the Underwriting team.  You will be responsible for attracting and retaining a diversified team of underwriters as well as managing and developing a less experienced underwriting staff. You will have underwriting responsibilities which will include managing your own portfolio.  You will also partner with the Market Manager to define a clear understanding of the credit appetite of the market and work with the Market to balance both sales and credit quality goals.  You will be the "go-to" person for Market Managers, Division Managers, Sr. Credit Execs, and Credit Execs for all credit issues within his/her portfolio.   include but are not limited to: Exceptional leadership including: an ability to motivate people to perform at their best, evaluate performance and provide real time feedback.Constantly monitoring market efficiency and staff levels in an effort to manage growth and to streamline when needed.
