Responsibilities: The Office of Institutional Research seeks a Research Associate to be responsible for the development and implementation of effective research strategies and the analysis of data related to enrollment of all students. The successful candidate will carry out data mining, forecasting, and predictive modeling; conduct timely market analysis in support of program development and assessment; serve as consultant and advocate for research within the enrollment and management area; collaborate on joint projects with faculty, external consultants, and others on campus; and make research results available and accessible for decision making. Requirements: Two years' experience with data collection, statistical analysis, and reporting in a data-intensive research setting is required, preferably in institutional research or enrollment management in higher education. Strong analytical and computer skills, proficiency with spreadsheets and statistical software, and the ability to carry out analyses with accuracy and consistency are also required. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, are necessary; familiarity with SunGard Banner or relational databases would be a plus. A Bachelor's degree is required with coursework in statistics; Master's degree preferred. .
