Technical expertise of air vehicle systems theory of operation and control laws. Position is a technical expert on all F-16 air vehicle systems. Provides technical guidance and training to flight line technicians and mechanics. Will analyze on-aircraft equipment failures to determine root cause and corrective action. Responsibilities include research, functional testing, data analysis, flight operations, test planning, test conducting and hardware/software configuration management. Advise or assist in effecting design changes to improve equipment efficiency and/or reduce cost of flight line operations by submitting problem reports and Requests for Engineering Action (REAs). Interacts and communicates technically challenging avionic systems issues with IPTs. Standard Job Description Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customer's organization. .
