Responsibilities and Requirements : Licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry. DEA Certified.Graduate of accredited School of Dentistry or graduate of an accredited university with a DDS or DMD degree. Currently licensed and current DEA certification number. General practice residency and/or previous clinical dental experience preferred. Computer literate, Valid Driver’s License. Must possess own vehicle. Must be approved by the Department of Corrections (DOC) and adhere to all DOC requirements. Employees will be subject to and must comply with all security regulations and procedures of NJ Department of Corrections and the assigned facility(ies) including, but not limited to sign in logs or electronic time clocks, searches of person and property, etc. Violations of NJ Department of Corrections and/or being banned by the Department of Corrections to work at a NJ Department of Corrections’ facility are grounds for a disciplinary action and potential termination. - Credential : Licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry. DEA Certified. : Provides dental health services to the inmate population; supervises the dental assistants; and interrelates and works effectively with inmates, other members of the dental staff, medical and nursing staff, correctional staff at all levels, and administrative and support staff.
