Responsibilities: Conduct the collection, analysis, and interpretation of selected institutional data. Enhance internal and external reporting and analytical capabilities through improved data management. Interpret results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via descriptive statistical analysis to complex data mining. Coordinate and respond to internal data requests for use in conducting informed organizational and institutional planning, evaluation, operational improvements, predictive analysis and decision making. Coordinate and respond to external data requests from governmental agencies and other associations; including IPEDS, national and state surveys, accreditation and licensure requests, and other miscellaneous sources. Manage the administration and analysis of student, alumni, faculty and staff surveys used to identify and improve organizational and institutional effectiveness. Provide analytical support and advice in areas of survey research, design, and analysis to support organizational and institutional assessment initiatives. Help direct the creation of the annual Fact Book that includes current and historical University statistics for reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in an appropriate discipline OR a minimum of three years experience in a field utilizing institutional research skills is required; Masters degree is preferred. Experience and expertise in institutional research, descriptive statistical data analysis, and/or survey design. Demonstrated spreadsheet, database and statistical software skills, as well as word processing and internet research skills. Experience and expertise with T-SQL, Crystal Reports, CampusVue and/or inferential statistics is required. .
