Responsibilities: The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skils necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served which includes: ante partum, intrapartum, postpartum, GYN and well newborns. Implements patient care by continuously practicing within the guidelines of hospital policies and procedures, as evidenced by accuracy in medication administration, nursing procedures and written documentation. Participates in quality assessment activities and in continuing educational opportunities. The individual must be able to adapt to change and function competently under stress. Must have current FL RN licensure, current BLS and ACLS with American Heart Association and have current NRP certification. Minimum one year previous experience in Labor and Delivery preferred..
