As a Sr. Regional Channel Account Manager, you will be responsible for executing on our high touch channel centric model in one of our largest North American Channel Markets. You will be required to understand global economic issues with unique impact to this geography’s business issues, challenges and opportunities as well as developing and executing on strategic and tactical plans to align resources internally and externally in order to capitalize on these opportunities resulting in over achievement of revenue objectives. Partners managed include Value Added Resellers, Systems Integrators, Service Providers and Consulting Companies.
Other key responsibilities include:
Understanding company and partner company growth and expansion plans, business challenges and to develop solutions to support achievement of these goals
Manage matrix resources to achieve revenue goals
Developing and leveraging other key manufacturing relationships with partners to create better margins and economies of scale for our partners
Assist partners in managing program benefits such as business development funds, marketing tools and training to improve measurable return on investments
Funnel reporting and management to achieve revenue objectives
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of Channel Sales experience with a consistent record of over achievement, performance awards and career advancement
Must have a history of managing and growing in excess of $75M in annual top-line revenues
Demonstrated ability to deliver high value solutions and negotiate complex deal arrangements
Proven track record of strategic sales management with the ability to assess markets, then develop and deliver on a strategic plan
A history of creating channel programs and competitive initiatives that are truly game changing
Highly skilled in building influential relationships and delivering in a cross functional / matrixed environment
Excellent oral and written communications and significant experience presenting solutions to the “C” level.
Experienced solution selling combining telecommunications, switching, routing, storage, security, software, applications or equivalent.
Must be self-motivated, capable of working in a fast paced environment.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. MBA desirable
