Institutional Data Analyst - (US-MO-Kansas City - 64999) Minimum Education: None Job Type: Full Time Jobcode: N/A Email this job to yourself or to a friend | Job Match Test | Resume Guide Click Here to Apply Online Responsibilities: Assist the Chief Academic Officer and other senior leaders to conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplifications and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively, analyzes and reports data in support of the institutional effectivenessresearch function. Projects vary in complexity and periodicity, ranging from ad hoc to short term to ongoing and annual projects. This position supports a variety of users across the Pinnacle Career Institution System. Data sources include locally developed institutional research database, survey data, peer data, benchmarking data, as well as the use of external databases. Analytical subject areas of projects range across the entire higher education decision support spectrum including data on student success, the research enterprise, quality of educational support and teaching, among others. Requirements: Appropriate college credit and some institutional research experience or equivalent combination of training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired. Preference for Bachelors degree in a high level research field such as Social Science or Psychology. 2. Demonstrated analytical and computing skills. 3. Excellent interpersonal skills 4. Ability to manage and motivate professionals from various academic disciplines as a cohesive, responsive team. 5. Ability to function as a member of a team and to maintain confidentiality at all times. 6. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet ambitious deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality. 7. Experience in creating and managing databases, SQL, Excel, Access or similar tools. 8. Experience with SPSS, SAS, STATA, Crystal Reports a plus. 9. Demonstrated ability to extract data, organize and manipulate data from various and multiple sources and develop easily understood reports that can be used in the organization. 10. Experience in working with national or regional accrediting bodies, specialized accreditation, as well as other regulatory bodies a plus. .
