Responsibilities : The Contract Analyst must be able to analyze complex contract information that the GEPS international team is receiving monthly and enter said data into the IRIS database in a timely and accurate manner. The Analyst must be able to communicate effectively with team members to coordinate effectively the changes in the licensing situation occurring on a monthly basis for the countries that are the analyst's responsibility. The Contract Analyst will also work closely with the Central Data Group in Geneva and Tetbury to resolve any errors and work on special projects.  General Job Duties:The Contract Analyst will research and accumulate contract data for the Latin America II region.The analyst will perform analysis on the data to ensure accurate and high quality data is entered into the Iris database.The analyst will be responsible for writing articles for the GEPS editorial product that relates to all contract activity. Specific Job Duties:Current and Historic maintenance of the IRIS 21 contracts database.ludes organizing, analyzing and entry of incoming information, running of computer validation processes, troubleshooting and correction of errors.Perform special projects involving the database as designated by local management, the Central Data Group.Use of specialized tools to QC data especially including GIS tools like Mapinfo, Microstation, Edge, Edin and ProbeAssist Regional Manager in analyzing, determining and communicating data needs, looking for data inconsistencies and problems. When needed work directly with in country representatives to help solve problems and fill data needs.

Requirements :A Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geology or other related subject that would allow the person to analyze complex contract documents from Latin America II. Experience:A minimum of five years experience in the oil industry is required Other :Knowledge of a variety of computer software and databases is necessary with at least two years working experience with various software.Use of GIS software and familiarity with coordinates/cartography is also preferred. Organizational Relationships:This position reports to (title):   Regional Manager - Latin America IIOnly qualified candidates will receive consideration and follow up We are proud to be an employer M/F/D/V.
