Instrument Controls & Electrical Engineer

Must Have:

* 7+ years ICE engineering experience in upstream oil and gas sector (required)
* Degreed Engineer (required)
* Strong Knowledge of Electrical Codes and Industry Specifications
* Strong knowledge of control and safety system design (software and hardware) and experience with multiple vendor supplied PLC, DCS, SIS, F&G and pneumatic systems
* Strong Knowledge and experience with Field Instrumentation selection and application
* Competent experience in the design and operation of onshore and offshore electrical systems for the oil and gas industry including high and low voltage generation and distribution systems
* Experience with detailed design on large capital project
* Strong communication skills, strong interpersonal skills/ ability to work within a multi-disciplined/multi-cultural team
* Willing to resolve issues and propose technical solutions
* Willing to travel within the US to contractor's offices and to site including offshore
* Willing to travel overseas for periods of 2 to 5 weeks, several times a year
* Oil & Gas Operation Company Experience (preferred)

* Based in Downtown Houston/North Houston Offices, 8-10hr work days, 5 days/wk
* Require occasional business trips within US (required)
* Require occasional business trips outside US (preferred for follow on work)
