Click Here to Apply OnlineCytovance® Biologics, a biotechnology contract development and manufacturing company, is seeking a full time, permanent, Project Manager for our facility located in Oklahoma City, OK.
The Project Manager will participate in the entire range of project management activities including project scheduling, budgeting, tracking of project progress, resource utilization, and interaction with new and existing clients, organizing and conducting meetings, and generating reports for senior management. Project manager will work with the Sales and Business Development team to ensure high quality of customer service and communication with client base.
Responsibilities will include:
• Create project schedules (Gantt charts) for new and existing projects
• Establish project budgets in conjunction with department managers
• Work with the Program manager and VP of sales and business development to issue proposal timelines, cost estimates, and ensure resources are available to execute new projects
• Track the progress of projects and resource utilization
• Co-ordinate projects to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Act as internal main point of contact for clients
• Schedule and lead project meetings both internally and with clients
• Provide meeting minutes to meeting participants
• Provide reports to senior management on project status
• Participate in problem resolution and conflict management for projects and clients
• Interact with the management team to develop new business strategies and improve the project management function
Qualifications:
• BS degree in a life scientific discipline with at least 3-5 years of progressive project management experience. Additional training in a scientific discipline (MS/PhD) or MBA and/or PMI certification is preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of project management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to anticipate problems/conflicts and provide resolution through creative problem solving
• Able to function well in a multiple project fast paced environment
• Must be able to interact with clients and internal management
• Competency in project management and business software
