Responsibilities: Design, layout and size ductwork and ventilation systems, piping, pumps andfans.Calculate loads and select equipment.Design facility lay-outs and systems; including electrical, HVAC, and/or mechanical, for smaller-to-moderate projects or components of a large project.Determine specifications for materials and work with Procurement group on material orders.Develop instructions for general installations.Assist on work with local, state, and federal planning & zoning, traffic engineering, and environmental agencies to determine facility impact.Monitor corporate-wide business continuity and recovery plans.Supports corporate facility standards, including office size and furniture.Work with the corporate Environmental, Safety & Health group on facility complaints, incidents or accidents. May be a member of the Emergency Response Team.Maintains facility compliance to ISO requirements.
