Key Role - Examples of tasks assigned to this reporting analyst: Role: Business/Data/Reporting Analyst role to support business functions: Data/business analyst role description: - Intermediate Microsoft Access, excel training along with exposure to VB, VBA, and SQL programming. -Translates end-user data and report requirements to system requirements. -Identifies appropriate data sources and coordinates data feed from external sources. -Explores alternative ways of meeting user requirements through improved programming. -Analyzes and evaluates system data integrity. -Develops and maintains client-based queries and programs for accessing and extracting data within the database environment. -Validates incoming and outgoing data files. -Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical positions. -Constructs business logic to meet end-user requirements. -Provides second level support and problem resolution, including initiating corrective action. -May evaluate the effectiveness of new programs by comparing results with original proposals. -Will support UAT testing. Additonal Reporting Job Rquirements and Description: Assist with the design or implementation of reporting processes. Express ideas and convey technical information in written, oral and electronic communication. Interpret results and communicate findings. Examine/extract data through the building of client-based queries as needed for reporting. Understand business logic behind system processes. Completes the creation of weekly, monthly & ad hoc reports for delivery to upper management, and audit requests as needed. Experience: - Analyst with experience in analysis, design, development and testing of reports utilizing the Business Objects and Crystal Reports suite of tools. - Proficient in Crystal, Excel, VBA - Able to learn user software quickly - Knows basic accounting and financial statements analysis - Create and use Business Views and Universe objects to create reports. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate, General Business or Accounting or equivalent work experience Minimum of 2 years of commercial real estate credit experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of loan documents Knowledge of current real estate market trends Proficiency in Microsoft desktop tools including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point. .
