Responsibilities: Youll take the lead in developing new ways to engage our audience and lead them through our stories online. Youll need to be agile: You might find yourself designing (or collaborating on) stories that are told through microsites, interactive graphics, blogs, widgets, mobile apps or video“ or perhaps even something we havent thought of yet. One day youll be sketching and designing, another youll be building; some days youll do both. Youll work with the rest of our web team“ as well as reporters, photographers, editors, illustrators, copy editors, print designers and programmers from across the newsroom on long-term and deadline stories. And youll join us in looking ahead not to where technology and storytelling and information distribution are right now, but where they could be in eight months, two years, or even ten.
