Responsibilities: Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) driving productivity in location to ensure each Retail Sales Consultant consistently meets/exceeds all sales objectives. Also responsible for assisting Store Manager with recruiting, training, coaching and evaluating sales team. Also responsible for administering corrective action process when necessary. In addition, Assistant Store Manager must effectively handle escalated customer service issues, ensure location is merchandised appropriately, and oversee consistent execution of cash handling and operating policies and procedures within location(s). Minimum Requirement ¿ Ability to effectively manage retail personnel to consistently achieve sales objectives. Candidate must also have great leadership, coaching, motivational, training and teaching skills. In addition, individual must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Applicant must also possess great analytical and problem-solving skills. Flexibility with work hours and changing job demands is required. Must be able to work at each store location within Sales Manager's area of responsibility. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Requirements: College degree preferred with an emphasis in Sales or Marketing. Experience: 2 years of sales experience or general business experience and 1 year retail experience Desired Qualifications: Strong leadership and motivational skills with the ability to drive productivity and foster an environment that facilitates excellence in sales and customer service.
