Analyze meteorological data Visit project sites and long-term reference locations to evaluate measurement equipment, terrain, and land use Conduct wind flow modeling studies (flow over terrain & wake loss modeling) Estimate wind project output using on-site and off-site wind data and wind turbine performance characteristics Evaluate energy production, estimate technical losses, and conduct statistical uncertainty analyses Write detailed technical reports that “tell the story of the data evaluation and findings Interact directly with clients, including educating clients regarding methods and results, presenting a professional company image to clients by email, phone, and in person, and identifying where additional services may be offered Participate in research projects, develop creative analytical solutions and apply problem-solving skills efficiently, while adhering to standards where applicable Perform other tasks in support of the company consulting work such as but not limited to designing turbine layouts, developing photo simulations, selecting appropriate turbine models, and reviewing energy assessments conducted by other parties
