Responsibilities and Requirements : Reporting directly to the QA Supervisor, the QA Associate Scientistwill track quality requirements and improvements.The primary responsibility of the QA Associate Scientist will be following FDA 21 CFR, Part 111, specifically reviewing and approving documentation. Documentation will include, but is not limited to, product specifications, packaging instructions, manufacturing instruction, production records, change control documents. The review of these documents will help ensure that the identity, purity, strength and composition of the dietary supplements are met.This entry-level position will reflect basic educational expertise with capabilities for growth in the Quality Sciences and technology. The Associate Scientist works under close supervision following detailed instructions. Contacts may include intra-organizational, suppliers and Affiliates and will require basic negotiation skills. Work is conducted in a laboratory and/or manufacturing environment with varying travel required.
