Responsibilities and Requirements : This position is a short-term consulting position for a .Net application development analyst. The candidate will be responsible for the re-development of a Human Resource application used within . This application was originally written using MS Access and VBA and is being replaced by re-writing the application in .Net. The candidate must have strong personal skills, and will have direct contact with clients, various IT support teams and vendors.Work with and accept supervision from information systems managementAssist the client with business requirements gathering and report creation.Assist the customer with testing the software to ensure documented requirements are met.Assist customers with problems and trouble shooting.Document system errors or problems for tracking system.Create documentation as needed and follow Mirant standards and methodology (i.e. documenting business requirements, process flows, system design, system change requests etc.)Experience following project management methodologiesExperience with testing and implementation proceduresMust be results orientedPerform effectively in a team environment and independently without close supervisionUse discretion concerning confidential and sensitive company informationHave demonstrated oral and written communication skills with management, customers, vendors, and peersWork closely with lead analysts and business analysts in other areas to ensure integration and determine priorities on projects that cross boundaries.Identify opportunities to improve business processes for clientsQuick learner Attention to detailsFlexible and dependableAlways looking for ways to improve to be more efficientWork well with others under varying situations and circumstances.

Requirements : 5-6 years information systems experience with proven technical skills and aptitude of 2-3 years experience with .Net, C#.Net, and ADO.Net of 2- 3 years experience with a Microsoft Windows environment 2-3 years experience with VBA required 2-3 years experience in MS Access including database design and application development requiedExperience with SQL requiredExperience supporting developed softwareExperience with relational databases; Oracle preferredPLSQL knowledge preferredAble to perform business process analysisStrong analytical and problem solving skillsStrong relationship building and customer service skillsOrganizational and administrative skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
