Responsibilities and Requirements : The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research is one of the fastest-growing and best funded in the nation, producing translational research that bridges the bench to the bedside. The Institute boasts a fully equipped General Research Center that focuses on key areas of disease such as Genomics and Human Genetics, Immunology and Inflammation, Neuroscience and Psychology, Oncology and Cell Biology, and Patient Oriented Research. Working varying hours with our Molecular Cardiovascular team, you'll facilitate our efforts to advance science, shape medicine, and make a difference in people's lives. We are looking for a Post Doctoral Research Fellow to handle the following responsibilities:  Perform research projects as directed by the independent investigatorFollows and adheres to experimental protocolsSubmits grant applications to governmental and non-government agencies for research supportPrepares abstracts for national/international meetings pertaining to the research field  Perform experiments on lupus prone models of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus mice including bleeding, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, real time Polymerase Chain Reaction, single cell PCR, flow cytometryPerform data analysisRead relevant literature and attend seminars on researchOther duties as assignedThe Feinstein Institute for Medical Research is one of the fastest-growing and best funded in the nation, producing translational research that bridges the bench to the bedside.
