Responsibilities and Requirements : If you are a great storyteller when it comes to live weathercasts, and if, as a reporter, you tell great people stories, and if you know how to work in a collaborative reporter/photographer team environment, then it time you came to work with us. Eyewitness News serves the ABC/CW affiliates in Memphis and were creating a reputation built on hard-nosed, aggressive reporting. Our news department is designed to provide constant critique, feedback and coaching, and is built around a team atmosphere. We want someone who will work hard to support their co-workers but who will breathe fire in the streets. We have very nice weather toys, including a state of the art Baron Doppler Radar, the latest and greatest Weather Central technology and a hyper-aggressive approach to severe weather coverage.Want to grow and be a part of a fast-growing news operation? Were looking for a weather expert who can help us expand our web, Podcast, phone-delivery and other new media presence, while also assisting in producing accurate and visually exceptional traditional weather segments for our on-air product. A degree in Meteorology is preferred and having an AMS or NWA seal is a decided plus.
