Responsibilities and Requirements : Responsible for maintaining and repairing fitness equipment and all building related support systems. Ensures safety within the club by promptly repairing equipment and conducting preventative maintenance on all equipment. Coordinates and communicate general repairs and facility maintenance with club management. Conduct morning walk through of the club to assess current state of the facility and prioritize day accordinglyEnsure equipment on the fitness floor is working properly and conditions are safeMaintain building, pools, electrical work, heating and cooling components and groundsUtilize the energy management system to properly temper and balance the buildingRepair basic plumbing, electrical systems and hardwareUpdate purchase orders and establish timeframes for part deliveryHire outside contractors as needed for specialty projectsAssist the Facility Operations Department Head with managing the budgetTrack capital expenditures and all department, maintenance, and repair expensesEnter data and track information into the work order system to ensure accuracy and timeliness of projectsSafety Comply with all company safety rulesUse all required safety devices and personal protection equipmentReport accidents and injuries to supervisor as soon as possibleParticipate in safety training and safety inspectionsSuggest methods of preventing hazards to safety committeeResponsible for maintaining and repairing fitness equipment and all building related support systems.
