Responsibilities and Requirements : Fall InternshipThe law clerks will assist with all aspects of its national impact litigation, public policy, and educational work. Will be responsible for interacting with members of the community who contact the organization's legal information helpline and handling their questions from start to finish under the supervision and training of staff attorneys. Conduct case research, update publications, and draft memos on a wide range of issues affecting people and their families. Semester clerks may work full or part-time (minimum 12 hours per week). Should be a current law student. Familiarity with LGBT-related issues and a dedication to social justice will be preferred. Writing skills are essential.Deadline: August 10.
