The successful candidate will be responsible for: Translating technical requirement specification into board-level design specifications, and then performing design, BOM generation, prototyping, debug and testing. Working with the System Engineer and other technical team members to integrate and debug board in a system as a key member of the product development team. The designs typically include digital and analog control system designs.Specific Desired SkillsA successful candidate would be familiar with and/or have experience with the following: Expertise with the board design and development process; document driven design; schematic capture and CAD tools (Altium, PCAD); PCB layout, parts procurement; prototyping; functional testing and debugging. Expertise in designing industrial control products to meet EMI/EMC, ESD, thermal and seismic requirements. Sound understanding of system-level power design; active and passive component properties and selection; thermal management; power ICs; digital load power management; and related PCB layout.
