Responsibilities and Requirements : High school graduate, GED, or 2 years of full time work experience in environmental services in lieu of education.  Able to read, write and understand the English language. 1 year in hospitality or healthcare setting; may substitute domestic experience.Must have eye/hand/foot coordination, finger/fine dexterity and be able to handle/grip/squeeze and perform repetitive activity. Must be capable of transferring-vertical/horizontal, lifting/carrying greater than 35 pounds with assistance, and be able to push/pull, climb, stoop, kneel, walk, sit, crouch/squat, flex/position/twist, stand, and reach.Cleans patient areas, office spaces, hallways and other areas of the hospital according to written work schedules, policies and procedures. Performs project work and other duties as directed. Works around all hospital patients, but does not have direct patient contact.
