Responsibilities and Requirements : Quality Control Inspector Familiar with Lean ManufacturingCoWorx Staffing Services is now accepting applications to assist our client; aworld leader in anodized aluminum finishes for the cosmetic industry.Our client is growing rapidly and is seeking to hire a Quality Control Inspector experienced in Lean Manufacturing practices.Candidates will be required to learn all aspects of the anodizing process.Job Duties:Perform first piece through final inspections on metal products that have completed anodizing process.Follow blueprints in order to take exact measurements using gauges such as micrometer, caliper and vernier.Look at production processes and make suggestions on how to make improvements using Lean Manufacturing standards.Read written specifications and determine work aids required for inspections.Record results and advise if measurements vary from specification sheets.Train to supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in inspecting material and work pieces for conformance to specifications, products, inspection instruments and procedures.Compute relative production and repair costs to determine salvage ability of rejected products.To qualify, applicants must possess 3-5 years in Quality Control Inspections within a metal manufacturing environment.Candidates must also be familiar with computer operations and Lean Manufacturing practices.This is an excellent Temporary to Hire opportunity that will eventually lead to a supervisory role for the right individual.To apply, please forward a resume or detailed work history along with salary requirements to CoWorx Staffing Services for immediate attention.
