Responsibilities : Coordinates with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and agency approval and consistency with work plans and compliance requirements. Performs environmental assessments for a variety of businesses and property transactions, Provides recommendations in order to make informed business decisions regarding environmental liability associated with real property and business transactions. Directs vendor, contractor and supplier activities associated with environmental services (e.g., remediation, waste disposal, and abatement) by preparing bid specifications, evaluating and tracking performance, invoice approval and auditing performance to verify contract performance. Supports public outreach activities including meetings, developing fact sheets, etc. Works effectively with other Boeing functions including communications, finance, legal, supplier management, site services, etc.CompetenciesGeneralAdaptabilityUnderstands changes in own and others' work and situations; may be asked to explain the logic or basis for change to less experienced employees; actively seeks information about changes affecting own and fellow employees' jobs. Requirements :Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
