Responsibilities : This includes gathering names of technical experts, corresponding with experts, obtaining curriculum vitas and work samples, and compiling a running list of potential consultants that includes their area of expertise, skill set, and availability.Assist in coordinating CT conferences and events described in the 2010 workplan.Conduct and compile literature reviews as needed.The consultant work will also support other key activities of AIDSTAR-One Counseling and Testing Team, including the following:Periodic review of AIDSTAR-One website, and update links between CT web content and other areas of content.Upon request, represent AIDSTAR-One and its CT activities in select professional forums and meetings with clients and stakeholders.Work with the Knowledge Management team on format, style and presentation of all deliverables.

Requirements :The Consultant must demonstrate the following:·Knowledge of and interest in HIV and public health in developing countries.·Strong communication skills·Excellent writing and editing skills·Excellent organizational and research skills.·Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.·Knowledge and experience with event planning.·Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects and deliverables with limited supervision.·Ability to manage deliverables and outputs assigned to consultants with limited supervision.·A Masters Degree in Public Health or relevant field, or MPH candidate or candidate for Masters Degree in relevant field.·Fluency in other languages.
