Responsibilities : Summary of with General This is responsible for the direct the deployment of the C.R. Bard Worldwide Safety and Environmental Programs by establishing structure and strategy. Establish goals and objectives to meet C.R. Bard commitments on employee safety and environmental responsibilities and product stewardship.Essential Job Functions Provide cost effective safety and environmental leadership and support to all C.R. Bard locations, worldwide. Lead efforts to fully integrate safety and environmental leadership into the business processes and strategic plans of C.R. Bard franchise locations. Promote safety, safe fleet, regulatory compliance and environmental sustainable development as core values within C.R. Bard. Direct and manage projects to address the issues identified in the post-acquisition environmental and safety assessment reports and integration activities for all C.R. Bard locations. Assist C.R. Bard locations for environmental and safety self-assessments and generating the Management Action Plans. Work with C.R. Bard management to ensure that a robust safety and environmental structure and support exist at each location to allow C.R. Bard to operate in compliance with regulatory obligations.

Requirements : 10 years of increasing leadership responsibility within operations, environmental and safety management. Experience with regulatory bodies and negotiations expertise with the aforementioned. Experience in manufacturing in health care or medical products. Experience with the EU Directives for environmental and product issues. B.S. Degree in Engineering or Environmental Management or relevant Science or Technical degree.
