Requirements :A.A. degree or two years of college required or equivalent experience.American Society for Healthcare Environmental Services or International Executive Housekeepers Association Certification preferred.:Significant environmental services experience in healthcare environment required (usually 3-5 years). Significant experience in working with bargaining units and contract interpretation (usually 3-5 years). Previous experience in a lead or supervisory position required (usually 2 years). Management skills, including interviewing, organizing, planning, and problem solving skills required. Knowledge of hospital infection control, sanitation protocolsand cleaning methods preferred.Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
