Responsibilities : Overview is the third largest ink company in North America and specializes in inks and coatings for the commercial printing, food packaging, metal decorating, and other fields. The employees who make this happen are dedicated individuals working together to meet our customer needs.We currently have an immediate opening for an Ink Inplant Technician at our client site in Griffin, Georgia.Essential functions of the job are:Act as a liaison between INX and the customer, working directly with the customer's management personnel. Develop manufacturing and production processes; manufacture ink and maintain the ink room; design and maintain customer records; order, forecast and maintain inventory. include:Matching colorsMaking ink to keep the presses operationalGeneral Housekeeping dutiesInventory controlMixing ink in batches of 500lbs or less.

Requirements : Prefer at least 5 years experience with ink inplant operations. Colormatching and basic lab QC skills. Previous inplant, printing, and/or warehouse experience helpful. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. computer skills and math skills.We offer a competitive salary with excellent benefits including medical, dental and 401K.
