Responsibilities and Requirements : Manage aspects of projects including developing project plans, workflows, timelines, meeting agendas, etc. (These projects are typically focused on facilitating a cross-functional team to develop and implement the technical solutions for new initiatives as conceived by new business development, international, home video and marketing departments.); Implement and maintain new web-based contract milestone notification system designed to provide early and recurring reminders of contractual requirements; Research, analyze and identify the “art of the possible in content distribution means that will meet the needs of a project or as directed by Management; Review third-party hardware and/or software providers bids for conformity to requirements and recommend potential vendors together with rationale, pros and cons, economic analysis, etc.; Review, update and communicate our satellite and transponder disaster recovery strategy as needed; Prepare, review for accuracy and distribute regular reports as requested (e.g., closed captioning; HD; etc.); Research and provide support for FCC proceedings that are relevant to our business. Cultivate business relationships within and outside the company and help maintain department as “go to resource for information and expertise; Coordinate the monthly financial review. Process vendor invoices for payment; track year-to-date spending vs. budget, etc.; Participate in the budget planning process to ensure accurate consolidation of numbers.
