Responsibilities : The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:Analyzing business opportunities for further success in the Consumer marketDriving the buy / build / partner business case for choices madePrioritizing resource investment accordingly for RIM software developmentProviding leadership to various RIM technical, marketing and channel organizations to drive successful whole-product deliveryProtecting the BlackBerry competitive advantage through the support of positive technology investment by strategic partnersFull ownership of development, in-life and EOL product P&L control and forecastingEnsuring product marketability and supportability through product positioning, competitive analysis, use case overviews, support driver responses, etc.Qualitative and quantitative reporting on compliance to strategic priorities18-month technical internal roadmap. 

Requirements :A technical and/or business undergraduate degree is mandatory of 5 years of product/program management experience in the Consumer wireless or Internet industriesExperience in defining and bringing to market new high-technology productsAbility to draw parallels and divisions as necessary in analyzing evolving trends in how consumers use technology to communicate and collaborateStrong leadership, negotiation, and team player skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills (including strengths in meeting objectives through influence, facilitation and team building)Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key product stakeholdersDemonstrated capabilities to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentStrong experience in project managementStrategic planning expertiseAbility to manage changeDesire to operate effectively within an aggressive organization.
