Responsibilities : Develop, design and update new and existing educational products in web based and print based format using the most current instructional design processes, such as ADDIE. Conduct needs analyses and audits to assess member needs and guide content. Projects include both domestic and international initiatives.Essential Duties and :Design new SHRM educational products using the ADDIE model to conduct analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Create a project plan, including an executive summary, timeline and budget. Make recommendations on the most appropriate format and delivery method. Select Subject Matter Experts and schedule meetings. Determine if aspects of the project need to be outsourced. If so, conduct an RFP process and select a vendor along, with the guidance of an internal SHRM team. Understand and make recommendations on the use of multi-media, if appropriate. Choose case studies, games, toolkits and simulations to enhance learning.

Requirements : A more years of experience as an Instructional Designer developing a wide variety of educational curriculum and products in various media and markets.Proficient in executing all stages of the instructional design process - needs assessment, design, development, implementation and evaluation - with an emphasis on development and maintenance; developing content with an educational purpose for publication, web-based delivery, and classroom use.Experience in developing education programs for private or public sector organizationsHR subject matter expertise preferred.Ability to translate design solutions into instructional materials such as job aids, self-study materials, facilitator guides, and facilitator-led materials as necessary.Ability to conduct focus groups, discussions, role-play simulations, case studies, and experiential activities. Excellent written, verbal, listening and people skills, with a strong desire to develop educational materials that reflect and advance overall corporate objectives.
