Responsibilities : Research Assistants at International have the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge, gain exposure to major projects, interact with experts and clients in the field, while building content knowledge and consulting skills. Research Assistants advance in our consulting practice or go on to outstanding graduate programs around the country.This team provides toxicology, safety assessment, risk assessment, and related support that address the full spectrum of potentially hazardous agents, including chemicals, microbes, and radionuclides. We specialize in identifying and quantifying the effects of environmental pollutants, such as metals, pesticides, and volatile organic compounds, on human health and the environment.:Analyzing data and completing toxicology reviewsConducting environmental fate and transport modelingReviewing population exposure assessments, and other projects relating to environmental risk assessmentSolving quantitative and qualitative problemsDrafting reports and developing recommendationsThis position does not involve hands-on laboratory or field work
