Responsibilities : This full time position is based at our headquarters in Fairfax, VA.Using creative skills and project discipline, the successful applicant will be involved in the full life-cycle of instructional design activities and focused on creating interactive and engaging ways to communicate specific knowledge and skills. The ISD professional responding to this advert must be able to apply the principles of adult learning and demonstrate expertise in designing and developing a range of instructional materials including e-learning, classroom-based training, job aids/references, scenario case studies, on-the-job training, and evaluations.These positions require four plus years of instructional design and experience across the full ISD life-cycle. . experience includes the following:Applying analysis to identify gaps in current training curricula, designing competency-based learning objectives, and developing appropriate instructional tools and techniquesWorking successfully with technical subject matter and experts to identify critical knowledge, skills and behaviorsDeveloping training and curricula for soft- and hard-skill coursesDeveloping e-learning solutions using rapid development tools such as Adobe Presenter, Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Lectora, etc.Assisting in evaluations of both participants, learning, and program successAdditional requirements include a demonstrated ability to do the following:Adhere to project budgets and schedulesAssist in facilitating client meetingsEmploy appropriate communication styles when working with othersWork effectively with client personnel at all levels, including senior leadershipParticipate in collaborative work processes with other ISD staff, programmers, graphic designers, and project stakeholdersWork well individually, virtually, and in a client-site team environment requires a MS/MA in Instructional Design,
