Berico Tailored Systems, LLC, (“BTS”) is a unique, growing company seeking key individuals to join our team. BTS specializes in developing cutting-edge software applications for wireless communication systems and devices, as well as analytic software products, primarily for the U.S. Government. A majority of our team holds a clearance, have military and/or overseas experience. Our headquarters is located in Columbia, MD.

BTS is seeking an entry level Software Engineer to join our team. This individual would be part of a small team developing next generation collaborative network analysis software applications for U.S. Government and commercial industry. Applicant will work with cutting edge technology and some of the best developers in the field. This individual MUST be able to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance. In order to obtain a US Security Clearance, the individual MUST be a US Citizen.
Work is done using agile development processes. Daily tasks include; developing user interface for product application in Silverlight/XAML, developing algorithms for graph analysis, creating ASP.NET services for communication, and integration with different data sources (relational database, XML database, etc.).

Applicant should have good communication skills, capable of working with customers to refine requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, a related field or equivalent experience required
• C# programming skills required
• ASP.NET or Silverlight skills recommended
• SQL, Javascript, HTML/CSS skills preferred
• Experience with source control, agile development, and test driven development preferred
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Knowledge of the following is a plus:
o Graph algorithms
o Text analysis
o Data mining
o Parallel/distributed processing
