BTS is seeking an entry level Software Engineer to join our team. This individual would join a small team revolutionizing how wireless cellular networks are deployed and utilized. Applicant would be responsible for developing methods for cellular surveys using handheld and distributed systems, as well as interact with experts on techniques. This individual MUST be able to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance. In order to obtain a US Security Clearance, the individual MUST be a US Citizen.

Daily work will involve creating applications on mobile phones and integrate with base stations to control and communicate on cellular networks.

Additional tasks include:
• Developing WPF/C# applications to integrate with cellular base stations
• Create tools and APIs for integrating with CDMA, GSM, and/or UMTS base stations
• Work with customers to develop similar capabilities on smaller base station form factors

Skills & Qualifications:
o Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, a related field or equivalent experience required
o C/C++/C# programming skills required
o Experience with embedded Linux or cellular phone programming preferred
o Experience with source control, agile development, and test driven development preferred
o Strong TCP/IP networking skills
o Radio development with GNU Radio or other is a plus
o Excellent oral and written communications skills
o Knowledge of the following would be a plus:
o Distributed systems
o RF engineering
o WiFi
o Cellular communications
