The Production Control Manager will collaborate with internal departments to review design requirements to determine and communicate effective process flow and ensure that products and materials required are ordered. The expertise of the incumbent will be sought out by Operations to evaluate and resolve issues. Manages the Inventory Control and Purchasing Departments. Provides direction and supervision to 3 exempt and 7 hourly employees.

Regularly scheduled office hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Occasional weekend work required.

As with all exempt positions, flexibility to work a variety of hours and circumstances is necessary to accomplish objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - MUST

1. 5 years experience must include hands-on Production Scheduling to production floor.
2. Possesses demonstrated ability to reduce inventory to minimum levels.
3. Ability to enhance existing, perpetual inventory systems.
4. Experience in spoilage management.
5. Must know Inventory Control
1) Must ensure that products and materials are ordered
in a timely manner

Food production industry experience is preferred.
• Computer Skills at intermediate level in Windows base software, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Database2, etc.

1. Working knowledge of MRP, Inventory / Purchasing control systems.
2. Excellent organization. Works under pressure in meeting deadlines.
3. Attention to intricate details, strong analytical and reasoning abilities for meeting production scheduling demands and resolving technical interface issues.
